The work we're known for

Fire, stone, and a place to gather.

Half of what Scott builds ends up being the reason the family stays outside until midnight — a wood-fired pizza oven, an outdoor kitchen with a stacked-stone bar, a fireplace that throws heat onto the back patio in February. We hand-cut every face, dry-fit the lead stones, and build the firebox to draw clean. No veneer shortcuts, no subbed-out crews.

What we build

One mason. Every stone trade.

A true stone mason — not an outdoor-living franchise. From a single fireplace re-face to a full stone home, the same hands that set the first course set the last. Free on-site estimate on every one.

The mason · since 1982

Forty-three years, one trowel.

Scott Bonniwell apprenticed under the Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Union, Local No. 2, and laid his first custom stone in 1982. Four decades later he still walks every job, sets the lead stones himself, and meets clients at the yard to pick the block. When a review says "Scott went out of his way," that's not marketing — that's the company.

Today a tight four-craftsman crew carries 60-plus years of combined experience onto every site, working out of the shop on York Creek Road in Driftwood and traveling the Hill Country to wherever the stone needs to go.
